Task 5 VST Produced Computer Game Music

Victory Track
For the victory track, I used the VST plug ins Thunder, I-Synth 1, Rhythmus and TAL Noise Maker. I chose these, because I wanted an upbeat victory theme that also had serious elements to remind the player of the genre of game that they are playing. The upbeat theme was achieved via the Rythmus Plugin and the semi serious tone was backed up via the Thunder Plugin. I believe I used the Plugin's effectively.

2D shooter Main Theme
For the main theme for my 2D shooter, I used the I-Synth 1, ReaSynth, ODsay and the Extractor VST plugins. I had no prior intention to use these plugins, but when i used them, i found the track satisfactory for my main theme, so I used it.

Enemy Approaching Theme
For the Enemy Approaching Theme, I used the Plugin Or2v. I chose this Plugin because I had yet to have used it, and when experimenting with it, I found the track suitable to be used for a enemy entrance theme.

Boss entrance
For the boss Entrance Track, I used the VST plugins, Alphatron and Arppe2600va. I chose these because I had not used them previously, and when I experimented with both of them, I ended up making a track ominous enough to warrant being a bosses entrance theme.

Game Music Piece
For Task 5, I created a music piece for a 2D shooter. I used the VST plugins FMMF, Dream 64, Rain, Thunder, High-life 1.4 and DSK Mini DRUMZ 2. I chose these because I thought that together, they can create a piece of music that is relevant and fitting to the genre.
I have used a range of  tracks in this music piece
